Wichita Thunder Hockey Team Wears Ranger Jerseys
The Wichita Thunder Hockey Team played their home opener game Saturday October 20 against the Oklahoma City Blazers at the Kansas Coliseum. The Thunder wore special Greensburg Ranger jerseys to raise money for Greensburg Relief. The jerseys were in a silent auction and then after the game each player was photographed with the jersey winner and then gave them the Ranger jersey. City employee Stacy Barnes was there to drop the puck at the beginning of the game. The Thunder lost to the Blazers, but their efforts for Greensburg were a winner.
